I have twice been lucky enough to be able to work with Jude. The first time was in 2010 when I ran PayPal’s UK-wide annual brand campaign. She wrote four amazing characters for us, based on just one photograph of each of them. She dreamed up their lives and passions, found their voices, and wrote their tweets, Facebook posts, radio ads and consumer emails. Each character delivered a story woven through print, digital and social media over our six-week campaign. Her copy cleverly and humorously described compelling reasons to use PayPal, and helped us shift the profile of the brand into social media for the first time. The second time we worked together was at my start-up, Here & Now, in 2015.
